Jennifer Whitfield | Bio & Portfolio

Jennifer Whitfield is a writer, analyst, and operations consultant based in the Vancouver area. She is co-founder of Two Cities Media, where she leads content strategy, process documentation, and interim operational engagements for business clients.

Her path to this work was direct, if unconventional. She owned and operated a retail decorating centre for five years — managing purchasing, finance, staff, merchandising, and in-home client consultations — before returning to university to formalize what she had already learned about human behaviour. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from Athabasca University.

Years of contract and temporary work across multiple industries gave her an unusual vantage point: she has been through dozens of corporate orientations, read more outdated SOP manuals than most people know exist, and developed a precise instinct for where operational documentation fails and why.

As a writer, Jennifer pursues investigative and analytical essays at the intersection of narrative theory, psychology, and media. Her independent channel, Whistle Press, serves as both a portfolio and a platform for that work. She is also developing screenwriting projects and is open to production and editorial opportunities in the Vancouver film industry.
